Becoming a new parent is exciting and challenging. Together we’ll learn what to expect – from welcoming your baby to first steps. Expecting moms and dads are invited to a supportive and educational group program on preparing for the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. This class does not replace hospital childbirth preparation classes.
Topics include: pregnancy and parenting adjustment, parent-child attachment, infant crying, infant feeding, infant sleeping, establishing routines, and postpartum planning/community resources. Parents receive free materials. Program is free and dinner is included.
Prenatal Parenting is a 6-session course that meets on Tuesday evenings in intervals throughout the year.
Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Our next session meets February 23 to March 29, 2016.
