Fellowship Positions in Psychopharmacology
The Neuropsychopharmacology Treatment,
Research and Training Center (NTRTC) is offering two year fellowship training positions in
psychopharmacology beginning in July, 1999. Fellows will have the opportunity to
participate in ongoing clinical research studies under the supervision of experience
faculty investigators. Projects are currently underway in the areas of:
- Affective Disorders
- Schizophrenia
- Anxiety Disorders
- ADHD
Training will be provided in the use of:
- structured clinical interview techniques
- validated symptom rating scales
- research design and methodology
- data analysis and manuscript preparation
Courses in research design and methodology are also offered through the NIH-funded
General Medical Clinical Research Center.
Fellows will also have the opportunity to participate in basic laboratory research with
supervision by faculty members from the Departments of Psychiatry and Neuroscience.
Other areas of ongoing research activity include:
- sleep research
- functional MRI
- outcome studies
- public psychiatry and health services research
